Day 33 (31st August 2013) of my Budget Restoration of my Series 2 Land Rover

Day 33

Well, the work is still on going and the drivers side (right) of the chassis is coming along. Hubby is today making the pieces up that go into the rear Drivers (right) side of the chassis. I managed to take some photos without him knowing. You can see him working away on the chassis in these photos

This side of the chassis has been a lot more work than we first thought. When hubby was taking off the rubbish, he found that the holes that were supposedly covered, were not covered. This means the piece that we have to put in is bigger, but he has done it. The first section has been put in place and I think he is pleased with the result. Not that he ever tells me that everything is going to plan or not LOL.

All of this part has been done and the first section is in place properly. I think this is a good job done and hubby is happy that he has got this part finished. Here is the first section finished.

It has taken a long time to get this part done and I think hubby has had enough of welding for one day LOL. He will be back welding again tomorrow. It is getting late and we don't want to annoy the neighbours LOL

Speak tomorrow
Debbie
