Series 2 Land Rover Budget Restoration - We are up to day 17 of the Land Rover Series 2 restoration 9th August 2013

We have really been making good with all the stuff that we have to do on 'Jane May'. Things are really starting to look good and the end of the restoration is in sight lol.

Seat box finished. Looking good

This is the tub that we are starting work on

There are a couple of holes, but they can be sorted. Is much better than what is on 'Jane May' now

Will need to get some more silver hammerite I think lol

Needs another wash me thinks lol

Will look good once all the paint work has been done. Will be starting that tomorrow

 

Well, we don't seem to have done much today. But believe me we have. It was hard work trying to get the tub clean, but we got it there. Now all we need to do is get all the trims off and get them painted. We will be painting the underneath of the tub first. That is the job for tomorrow.
